How to Install escputil software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

escputil software package provides maintenance utility for Epson Stylus printers, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install escputil

escputil is installed in your system.

Make ensure the escputil package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep escputil *

You will get with escputil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
